Reporting to: Managing Director

Client: Our client is a large blue-chip organisation that works within the Industrial, Construction, and Infrastructure arenas. They offer a range of services to a broad spectrum of industries, including Construction and Demolition, Defence, Energy, Historic and Heritable Buildings, Infrastructure, and Marine.

Position: To lead continued growth in line with company Strategic Development Plans for the Renewable Energy Division. With a proven track record of success in Business Development and Sales, you will be responsible for growing and servicing a portfolio of clients within the Renewables Energy sector who are able to provide year-on-year increases in turnover. It is essential you have experience in business development within this sector.

Duties

You will be responsible for developing a Territory Business Plan.

Make phone calls to arrange appointments.

Undertake sales presentations to clients and potential clients, showcasing the company’s services and unique selling points.

Deal with client enquiries.

Interface with our company’s Directors and Estimators to develop technical reports and quotations.

Present technical reports & quotations to clients and secure profitable orders.

Build positive long-term business relationships with clients.

Candidate

You will be ideally educated to HND or degree level and have experience of technical sales in a Renewable Energy environment.

High standard of general literacy, numeracy and business acumen.

IT literate and proficient in using key software systems (including Microsoft Office and Salesforce).

Excellent people and relationships building skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, communicating both written and verbally at all levels – site personnel, client, and board level.
