PSI Global’s Industrial Services recruitment team is now able to offer training and certification for industrial painters as the first agency affiliate member of Train the Painter, a fully accredited Industrial Coating Applicator Training Programme.
Train the Painter is part of The Corrodere Academy. A number of courses are run by the academy and are designed to give workers the essential skills they need before they’re able to start work on-site. While the initial course is meant to give workers essential skills to start their career, further courses are also essential for upskilling workers who are already working in the industry.
Three courses are currently being offered by PSI Global in Plymouth as and when our projects require. The first course will be made available to local workers who are looking to get into industrial painting as a career and have applied for and have been hired for a job on-site. Two of the three courses are available to our current workforce in Plymouth who would like additional training to progress in their career.
For those who are looking to start their career in Industrial Services as an Industrial Painter, contact our local team on 01752 424 752 to discuss our current opportunities further.
If you’re already working on-site with us and would like to take the Abrasive Blast Cleaning or Spray Painting course as a way of upskilling your experience, contact our team at IndustrialServices@psi-gsr.com. These courses are available for our workforce who already hold a Train the Painter (TTP) card and would like to take another course for career progression.
Protective Coating Applicator – This course must be taken before any further Train the Painter courses can be taken. This will be available for any local workers looking to start their careers as industrial painters.
Abrasive Blast Cleaning – This two-day course, following the Protective Coating Applicator course, will help to upskill you to use multiple blast media.
Spray Painting – This two-day course can also be taken following the Protective Coating Applicator course for a potential career path in professional airless or conventional Spray Painting.
