August Updates

We’ve had another busy month at PSI Global in August, with a lot to look forward to as we head into September and the last quarter of the year.

Our Major Projects team are now supplying the HS2 viaduct in Coventry. We’re recruiting Strimmer Operatives at the minute, but looking ahead we’ll be taking on Shuttering Joiners and Steel Fixers as well. This is an ongoing project, so stay tuned to our jobs page and social media channels for updates on vacancies.

We’re continuing to build our presence throughout Europe. We started with projects in Ireland and have now expanded to include Germany, Holland, Belgium, and Denmark. Projects in Holland and Germany are currently underway. These are long-term projects of a mechanical and electrical fit-out for two large data centres.

Consistent growth has seen new projects coming up in France, Spain, and Poland. This continued expansion has meant the need for a presence to help recruit within Europe, leading us to obtain office space in Romania with a dedicated recruiter to source EU workers for these projects.

The new PSI Global Training programme is continuing to run Train the Painter sessions across the UK, with the latest being held in Ellesmere Port. The group took part in the week-long course, which started with classroom sessions and ended with the practical session. Running these sessions is just the start of a big benefit to the Industrial Services sector, helping to reduce the skills shortage and bring more people into the industry.
