PSI Global in Plymouth Win Employer of the Year

During the Diversity Confident event in Plymouth on 15 March, Yasmin Lobb and Cameron Smith from the PSI Global Plymouth office received the Employer of the Year award. “We were over the moon to win the award for Employer of the Year!” shared Senior Account Manager Yasmin. “It was an honour to be selected from so many well-known companies which regularly attend these events.”

Recruitment Administrator Cameron added that it was, “a great honour to be recognised by such a community focused company for our efforts in supporting the unemployment issues our city faces.”

The award was presented by Ronnie Carter from the Devon and Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, and recognised the team for their hard work and dedication in helping people in Plymouth get back to work.

The event, put on by Lisa Andrews, was The Big Seetec Job Fair – Diversity Confident, and was one of many Seetec Pluss job events the team in Plymouth have attended. “The job events are always successful for us,” Yasmin said. “We are able to register new candidates and arrange follow up interviews for upcoming work in Plymouth.”

The event saw over 200 candidates attend to meet potential employers and skill providers in the Plymouth area.

PSI Global have been working with Seetec Pluss in Plymouth since 2021. “It is great to partner with them to help get local people back in to work, and lovely to see so many familiar faces at each of their job events,” Yasmin shared.

Having joined us at the end of 2022, Cameron came into PSI Global when the relationship was up and running. He commented on the relationship with Seetec, saying that “being a relatively new member of the team, I find it inspirational to see the work Yasmin, Rebecca, and the rest of the team have done to lead us to this award. Words can’t express how grateful I am to be working for a company that has provided so much to the city I love.”
