PSI Global's September Updates

September Updates

September was a busy month for us at PSI Global as the team continues to grow and work on new initiatives for the business.

Our Construction and Engineering team are continuing to see growth globally with a team due to start in India next week on large-scale data centres and energy projects. Throughout the EU we have projects in Amsterdam, Poland, and France already up and running. If you hold an EU passport and are interested in working outside of the UK on these projects, get in touch with the team now and let them know. We’re also still working on projects in Ireland, which UK citizens are eligible for. Contact Demi or Chris if you’re interested.

Continuing with our commitment to mental health support, our Operations Manager Sarah has set us up with the Access to Work Mental Health Support Service from Maximus. This is a mental health service that will provide support to anyone facing mental health struggles that are affecting them at work. Our aim is to have them join us on-site for talks about how they can help, something our account managers will be in touch about.

Last week we attended the Recruiter Awards in London where we were shortlisted for Best Temporary Recruitment Agency. While we didn’t win this time around, being shortlisted is still a testament to the hard work our team do day in and day out for our clients and candidates on all of our projects.

If you follow PSI Global’s social media channels, you’ll have seen that a lot of progress has been made on a new space in Liverpool for upcoming training opportunities. This is something our Industrial and Marine Director Rebecca has been working hard on over the past few months to offer upskilling and training for Industrial Painters, and for those who want to become an Industrial Painter. Keep following along for more updates.

We’ve also added a new division to the PSI Global Group this month, welcoming Nikki Frampton and PSI Global Scaffolding Limited into the fold. This gives us the opportunity to have an experienced scaffolder on board to help us fill the many scaffolding roles we regularly have available, generating further interest from the scaffolding community with a person many of them already know and trust.

Finally, I’d like to take the opportunity to welcome Jac Simpson to the team. Jac will be taking on white-collar recruitment across Major Projects and Industrial Services. We’re excited to have him on board and are looking forward to what he’ll bring to the table.
